The Vancouver vandals violently vent volume V.
The British Columbian quintet made a bold quest completing this brutalistic consolidated compilation.

After four albums under the wing of Season of Mist records, these madcap murderers of the metronome decided to go it totally alone for their fifth release.
By leaving the label, ARCHSPIRE appealed to the fans, via a kickstarter, to help fund TOO FAST TO DIE. Guitarist Dean Lamb recently made a refreshingly open and honest video giving a breakdown of where this money goes and the hoops needed to jump through.
So, it appears that the gamble paid off because there isn’t anything on here not to like.
Every song is intricate and intense, with melodies in the maniacal mathematics, while leaving plenty in the tank for mellow expression and gut punch grunt.
Leads are pin sharp and expressive.
The bass is bowel rumbling.
The drumming is explosive and tight.
The vocals are rhythmic, punctual and almost indecipherable. Just how it should be from an ARCHSPIRE release.

Again, like previous outings, the production is superior. Although not as densely packed as Bleed The Future from 2021, every note, beat and bark is coherent and clear. The intricate details and bullish breakdowns have their fair share of love.
I should add that, with such a tight control that comes with this type of budget, videos are a luxery more than necessity. It happens that ARCHSPIRE have a knack for not taking themselves seriously, and that helps with making clever, witty skits to go with the songs.
The video for CARRION LADDER is a standout, with it’s tongue in cheek pastiche of the Eminem led film, 8 Mile.
ARCHSPIRE have made an album that not only knows the rules, it writes the added appendices in refining tech death.
Too Fast To Die is indeed fast, and so good… it’s to die for.

TOO FAST TO DIE is out now and available to download on major streaming sites now.
