Released 17th July, 2026

The Brighton based brainiacs of belligerent beats and beatdowns befoul breakcore by breaking barriers.

Here we go again… Another month and another reason to mention the noise terrorists from England’s southern shores.
I can’t seem to get away from saying this, but DEVILHUSK has been causing more damage to eardrums than a fifth birthday party at a sugar factory.
Ever since proclaiming their presence on a Hertfordshire stage 18 months ago, there has been almost nothing to stop these maniacs slowing down.

Throughout their breakthrough, DEVILHUSK have been very honest about their approach to writing and recording on the socials, and it makes for refreshing and entertaining viewing. What carries over is their mentality of more is never enough.

Evidently, sitting on one’s laurels doesn’t sit well with DEVILHUSK, as it seems the more reach they imbue, the more the need to push the listeners limits multiplies. 2025’s Sleep Like The Dead EP was a harsh exploration in electronic terrorism and industrialised metal.

This time around, the good ship DEVILHUSK has four captains taken to madness and steered directly into the tempest, full speed ahead. GORETECH: INTIMIDATOR is the sound of the storm’s full fury.
Lulling you in with the usual noxious genre blending, the track soon puts headphones
and speakers to the test.
GUTCHECK is the tortured offspring of a redlined sound desk playing slam at a rave.

In fact, this theme continues through into the other two tracks, NIGHT: ONRUSH and the everso slightly approachable but equally punishing MONTEZUMA 1260. The whole EP fuses into a nine minute excuse for excess, with plenty to keep you listening. It is stockholm syndrome in audio form.

This will kill your airpods. In fact, my headphones with 60mm drivers struggled (and failed) to maintain coherence, but proper, Swedish made speakers did put up a decent fight which resulted in an impasse of sonic resolution.

A true thumbs up to extremity and a double middle digit to norms. GORETECH: INTIMIDATOR have made a new benchmark for themselves, and I cannot wait to hear if they can top it. They may owe me new speakers if they do, though.

GORETECH/INTIMIDATOR is out now on major streaming sites.
Also available on the DEVILHUSK Bandcamp (HERE).
