Our mates in Halberd are back with another collaboration track with a ton of friends from the LMC (That’s London Metal Coalition), the track, written and mixed by Halberd features… 14 bands, 13 guest vocals and 8 solo’s… all in just 5 minutes 11 seconds phew!!

So before we get into the review..here’s the list of contributors…

In addition two of the guest vocalists are not in bands, but are a couple of the biggest supporter’s of the London Metal scene – Brad O’Hare and Tyler Townsend.

So, onto the track… the beating heart of the LMC launches from the start, with a dirty heavy intro that grabs you by the balls before launching into one of the numerous noodling solos before the vocals kick in… we then play spot the vocalist… was that Case? that could be Dan?? is that Matt??? ah who knows.. who cares as the multiple layers of vocal talent on display intertwine and compliment through the whole number.

Solo’s are a plenty as all the contributing musicians get a chance to show their skills, as they weave in and out of the almost breakdown esq bottom end that makes this track feel like a real mosh-pit stomper…. I can feel myself pulling that face… you know the one as I prowl the pit looking for victims to toss into the fray!

The track is a short and sharp glimpse into Halberd and the rest of the LMC and it’s well worth that sneak peak, and continues to prove the breadth and depth of the talent in the London Scene… and most of all that they work together to support and encourage each other and showing us that community over competition is very much alive in the capital!

The single will be out on the 18th August via all the normal streaming sites and accompanied by a music video.. which we can’t wait to see, and don’t miss out on catching many of the LMC bands in action at ‘Coalition Fest’ in September.
