Collapse The Sky is a metalcore band from Norfolk, and they’ve just released their new single, Welcome | Death, alongside a dark, synth-inspired video that perfectly matches the atmosphere of the track.

The intro immediately takes you into a spooky, cinematic atmosphere before the vocals and epic heavy guitar takes over. The vocals stay consistently strong throughout the song, carrying the emotion and intensity from start to finish. Musically, everything blends together perfectly, from the dark synth layers to the ferocious riffing and relentless double pedal drum work that gives the track that addictive headbanging energy metalheads crave.

The closing riff is especially powerful, ending the track on a heavy and memorable note. Every element feels polished while still keeping that raw, aggressive edge. The song stands out easily and gets stuck in your head after the first listen, giving a strong taste of what this already established band has in store next.

The artwork also deserves credit, with its dark, ghostly aesthetic showing a hooded figure standing in a shadowy forest, perfectly representing the lyrical mood and the feeling of a “world where the sun don’t shine.” Overall, this is an amazing release and a seriously solid piece of modern metalcore. It’s quite difficult to stand out nowadays especially in this genre, however Collapse the Sky seems to have found a great recipe to prove us otherwise! 9/10
