A review by Ded Walls
It’s always a treat being exposed to a new release I’ve never heard of, and what an assault on the senses this was!
Lucretian’s “Warpath” has all the markings of a promising debut EP for extreme metal. Scorching vocals, chugging guitar riffs and the kind of drumming you’d want to emulate with whatever objects you can find in front of you. As a die-hard Venom Prison fan myself, it was especially touching to hear Ash Gray on “Absence Of Light”. Such is the production, a lot of effort has clearly been made in making it crisp and modern, whilst retaining the raw sound of early black metal. With just four tracks, this will surely make you hungry for a full length album, death metal and black metal fans alike.
I give this release a solid 8 exhumed graves out of 10!

WARPATH is available for streaming on all major platforms, allowing fans of extreme metal easy access to Lucretian’s powerful debut.
For those interested in a visual and auditory sample, the official music video for the title track, “Warpath,” featuring Blanket Hill, is available on YouTube HERE -> https://youtu.be/ncxtKOPUy30?si=YwYGqiHKp6xcQ3ND
