Review by Dead Walls
There’s something unnerving about hearing a new Worship The Sacrifice tune. You know what you’re going to get but it doesn’t let you off the “meat- hook” either. “Aphotic” is already showing promising signs of what their full length will sound like. From the crushing swedish melo-death sounding guitars, to the tortured melancholy of Laz’s vocals that gives the music an unmistakable feeling that many death metal contemporaries just don’t have. Breathing in the lyrical content, one wonders if the man is a sorcerer, a visionary or a cult leader, either way, this band will be getting some new acolytes by the end of the year. Cranking this at full volume, you’ll likely be causing some serious damage to your property (or your sanity). You have been warned….
APHOTIC hits all platforms on June 1st. For a preview listen, follow the band on social media to find out where it’s being played next!
