Review – Devastator – Death Forever (Single)

There are plenty of examples of ‘Blackened Speed/Thrash’ doing the rounds, with the results being a mixed bag of one man solo projects, blatant Venom worship, overly distorted and reverb’ed sludge and totally enjoyable Thrash N Roll…

Derby’s Devastator sit very firmly in the last section, the band have put out quality, catchy and vibrant releases since the off set, their Baptised in Blasphemy debut album was jam packed with bangers, with Merciless Onslaught, Liars in Wait and now Death Forever continuing the upward projection

Death Forever does what we expect, want and need from a Devastator release, it’s fast and furious, catchy and uptempo, has a blistering solo, and Toms vocals tie it all together in a solid and enjoyable package…

If you are fans of the guys previous works, caught them at Bloodstock in 2022 or on their various shows and tours you will know what to expect and enjoy…. So, let’s sing along kids ‘Worship Death Forever’
