Biography

Formed in the smoke-filled shadows of Birmingham, Monetopia exploded onto the scene in 2023. They were determined to be the name on everyone’s lips.

Fast forward to 2025, and the band has already left scorch marks across the UK metal scene — supporting the likes of Acid Reign, Tortured Demon, Devastator, Fracture Point, and Regicide, as well as tearing up the stage at The Dev in Camden.

On December the 19th 2025 they released their debut album Disarray. They’re ready to put down their mark

With Birmingham’s heavy legacy looming large — Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Godflesh, Bolt Thrower, Napalm Death — Monetopia have plenty of sonic giants to draw from. And they’re more than ready to carry that torch, loud and unrelenting.
