Biography

KillScythe are an up and coming thrash metal band based in the gateway to the highlands, Perth Scotland.

Created in 2025, Killscythe are formed by Andy Muller, Allan Chatila, David “Franny’ Francis, Ian Gil and Matty Muller who bring their own unique sound to the UK Thrash Metal scene. Although a newly formed band, individually each member has years of experience in playing and writing intense music.

Killscythe provides rhythmic riffs, memorable harmonies and technical precision which make for a high energy sound. Using the interests of the members and influences of their homeland they delve into lyrical themes of history, HP lovecraft, and tales of long ago battles. They released their debut material in 2025, including tracks “Byzantium Burning” and “Dreaming a Darker Dimension”.

They are known for their fast paced live shows, and for the technical ability in Andy and Allan’s guitar playing. Supported by Ian’s banshee-like screams, Franny’s thundering drums and Matty’s aggressive bass playing, they provide a sound that’s reminiscent of their influences “Judas Priest”, “Metallica”, “Megadeth” and “Children of Bodom”.

Having already played in many venues across Scotland, they are ready to take their sound to a wider audience. With fresh ideas and new material on the horizon they want to share their songs with new fans who share the same love of thrash!
