Fracture Point

Biography

Grumpy Old Men, Angry Music, No Compromises

Formed in 2021 in the heart of London, ‘Fracture Point’ is a no-nonsense crossover thrash band known for blending the relentless energy of thrash with the heavy groove of classic metal, and liberaly sprinkled with some hardcore. Describing themselves as “just grumpy old men playing angry music,” the band’s sound is fast, furious, and unapologetically raw—a reflection of the frustrations that come with age, experience, and a lifetime of bad decisions.

Made up of veteran musicians who’ve spent decades in the UK’s underground metal scene, The Band features guitarists Aidan and Sonny, bassist Adam, drummer James, and frontman Sean. Though their combined experience spans multiple bands and genres, they’ve come together under one banner: to play heavy music with no frills and no time for bullshit.

Their 2022 debut EP, ‘Mind Affliction’, was a blistering introduction to their mix of thrash speed and groove-laden heaviness, with tracks like ’Parasitic NarcissisT’ and ‘Isolation’ hitting hard both musically and lyrically. With anthemic choruses, tight rhythms, and enough bite to make you take notice, the EP quickly gained traction in the London underground scene.

In 2024, They released their 2nd EP, ‘Act Of Malice’ which further cemented their reputation for crafting powerful, groove-heavy thrash with sharp social commentary. Tracks like “Call To Arms” and “Cast The First Stone” reflect the band’s frustration with the state of the world—political corruption, societal apathy, and the everyday grind. But it’s not all doom and gloom—there’s also a dark humour running through their veins, and the band pokes fun at their own grumpiness and unapologetic approach to life.

Known for their raucous, high-energy live shows, ‘Fracture Point’ brings a relentless assault to the stage. Despite their self-deprecating attitude, they are fiercely proud of their music and never shy away from a good old-fashioned mosh pit. They’ve shared the stage with underground heavyweights like ‘Hellfekted’ and ‘Demolizer’proving that age is no barrier when it comes to playing loud, heavy, and fast.

Now, coming into 2025, ‘Fracture Point’ will be back in the studio, working on new material, promising more of the hard-hitting riffs, groove-laden hooks, and grumpy wisdom that their fans have come to expect. The world may have gotten older, but so have they — and if anything, they’re angrier than ever.
