Biography

Bloodsaw are a blistering blackened speed metal force hailing from Manchester, UK. Formed in 2023, the band blends the raw energy of classic NWOBHM with the ferocious intensity of early thrash pioneers like Venom, creating a sound that’s both nostalgic and cutting-edge. Drawing influence from modern blackened speed metal acts like Hellripper and Devastator, Bloodsaw craft blistering riffs, relentless drumming, and snarling vocals that leave an indelible mark on listeners.

Their self-titled EP, released in 2024, marked their explosive entrance into the metal scene, showcasing their signature blend of speed, aggression, and dark energy. With studio time already booked for early 2025, Bloodsaw is set to build on their momentum and continue refining their unique sound.

Already making waves, the band is slated to perform at the Doomed Resurrection Festival in Nottingham and will be opening the highly anticipated Thrashchester at Rebellion, Manchester—a show expected to sell out in record time.
