Biography

From the musical melting pot of Manchester come HELLBEARER, a hard-hitting thrash metal band formed in 2022. They quickly wrote their debut album, For Those About to Bear Hell, released in 2023, and went on to open Thrashchester the same year. In 2024, they won Bloodstock’s Metal to the Masses competition with a blistering set that broke the new blood stage’s crowd-surf record.

Fast forward to October 2025: they released their follow-up album, Darker Fates, to fantastic reviews.

One example reads:
“If you’re wondering what this sounds like, imagine if Slayer’s Repentless got dragged down a dark Manchester alleyway, mugged, given a pint of vodka, and told to play faster, harder, and louder. That’s Darker Fates.”

Having played with bands such as 3 Inches of Blood and Abaddon, 2026 promises to rip the roof off!
